Back in October we shared with you some beautiful Victorian Geometric stained glass pieces we finished, using the stunning multi faceted gems hand painted by our own artist, Margaret.

Today we’d like to share with you this traditional piece of stained glass that we have re created for a home in Balham, copying the original design, glass colours and textures from the originals in a neighbouring house.

This is one of two hallway sash windows, here our glazier has removed the sashes from their frame.

At some point the stained glass was removed from this sash and it was glazed with an obscured glass called stippolyte

Here the stippolyte has been removed, all the old putty hacked off and the sash is ready to be glazed with its new stained glass

The stained glass is now in place and ready to be fitted
